Jelena Vujović is a Zurich-based writer and director.
After earning her Bachelor’s degree from the Zurich University of the Arts in 2020 and completing an exchange semester at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade, she was selected for the Zurich Film Festival Academy, a talent program for emerging directors and producers.
Her diploma film, Bićemo najbolji (We Will Be the Greatest), was nominated for the Swiss Film Award and has been screened and awarded internationally.
Since 2022, she has worked as a writer and 2nd unit director on the 3rd and 4th seasons of the series Tschugger.
Now working as a freelance writer and director, she is drawn to the vast possibilities of audiovisual storytelling. She enjoys exploring different genres and formats, always seeking the best medium for each story. With a dynamic and open approach, she strives to create narratives that engage and inspire audiences in new and meaningful ways.
